Friends of Roatan celebrates first successful fundraiser at launch party

The first official fundraiser and launch party for Friends of Roatan was a huge success! Held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Omaha Palazzo, the event was attended by several supporters, friends and affiliates.

Clinica Esperanza’s founder and director, Peggy Estranges, delivered the keynote presentation and was joined by sponsor representatives from Diventures and Pro-Insurance Resources while musical entertainment was provided by Tyler Anthony and the Greek Godz.

Fundraising efforts for the event included a silent and live auction as well as raffles, raising nearly $49,000!

“Brian and I cannot be more thrilled and humbled by the outpouring of support and generousity for Friends of Roatan,” says Amy Begley, co-founder of Friends of Roatan. “You could truly feel the love and support and it’s just amazing that this dream to help the island and people we love so dearly come to life.”
